Senior Structural Technician Jobs in Birmingham (J943)

Residential design consultancy in West Birmingham requires a Structural CAD Technician to work part of a friendly and experienced Civil & Structural Engineering team. The company is an expert in its field and as a result gains significant repeat business from a diverse client base. The work environment is fast-paced and will need your full attention on low to mid rise residential projects.

Structural CAD Technician duties:

• Manage the delivery of residential projects
• Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
• Liaise with clients and contractors
• Supervise and mentor less experienced Technicians

Structural CAD Technician experience:

• 5+ years experience gained with a UK consultancy
• Drawing & detailing in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of CADS RC is a bonus
• Liaison with clients, contractors and other consultants
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills both verbally and written

Structural CAD Technician benefits:
