The ideal candidate is highly motivated and well rounded, with knowledge/interest in coding, PCB design, and possesses a mechanical ability. Under technical guidance, the candidate will be responsible for designing/architecting complete test solutions for some of the most cutting-edge industries.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Design test fixtures and test procedures for DUT and system level test
- Generate, evaluate, and perform engineering change requests as required
- Apply innovative approaches to resolving unusual or complex engineering problems at task and project levels
- Apply engineering knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned engineering problems at a task and project level
- Develop appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicates results to project engineering staff
- Support test plan working groups, technical reviews, and safety reviews with internal and external customers
- Work side-by-side with systems/project/mechanical/software engineering on all associated documentation
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally during all phases design, test and deployment programs to include test plans, build documentation, and issues and test reports
- Make technical presentations to project staff
- Support engineering staff to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and aid in developing solutions to test and integration issues found during all phases of test utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles
- Design Circuits and PCBs to facilitate testing
- Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments
- Some travel required (up to 15%)
Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willing and eager to learn
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
- 2+ years on the job experience preferred but not required
Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or other U.S. person per 22 CFR § 120.62.
Pay: $75,000 110,000 per year
Location: El Cajon, CA
Hours: Full-time, In-office, Monday through Friday. 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with ability to work extended hours as required.
