About the job Founding Account Manager
Our client is an AI-native Third-Party Administrator disrupting the $200B insurance claims industry. As the Founding Account Manager, you will report directly to the CEO. This is a high-impact, high-intensity role where you won't just follow a script—you will write the playbook.
What You'll Do
Quarterback the Relationship: Own the full customer lifecycle from initial onboarding to long-term renewal.
Drive Implementation: Lead customer onboarding, building project plans and driving timelines to ensure seamless go-lives.
Strategic Growth: Identify and close expansion opportunities (new programs, regions, or service lines) to maximize account value.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with Operations, Claims, and Product teams to unblock technical issues and maintain client confidence.
Risk Mitigation: Monitor account health, manage SLAs, and lead de-escalation efforts during high-pressure situations.
Who You Are
5+ years in Account Management or Customer Success, specifically managing insurance, fintech, healthcare, or HR systems.
A background in Insurance or InsurTech is highly preferred.
You thrive in "zero-to-one" environments and have experience building playbooks or CS motions from scratch.
Proven track record of securing renewals and driving upsells/expansions.
This role requires a high-energy, collaborative spirit. You must be based in (or willing to relocate to) NYC for a 5-day in-office schedule.
