About the job Account Executive
Are you a scrappy, high-performing sales professional ready to move to a Founding Account Executive role?
The Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly scaling, venture-backed startup revolutionizing the marketplace for specialized vehicles and equipment. We are seeking a competitive, high-energy Account Executive to join an elite go-to-market team. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will have the autonomy to build your own book of business and the support of a fast-growing brand.
If you thrive in the "beautiful chaos" of an early-stage startup and have a desire to dominate a niche market, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from initial sourcing and discovery to closing new logos.
- Strategic Prospecting: Execute a 50/50 split of inbound lead management and proactive outbound hunting.
- Relationship Building: Engage directly with key stakeholders (like Fire Chiefs and Fleet Managers) through virtual meetings and occasional on-site travel to close high-value deals.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent our client at industry conferences and events with a professional, low-ego, and service-oriented approach.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a high level of CRM hygiene to track your progress and forecast growth accurately.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have 3+ years of success in a full-cycle sales role, ideally within an early-stage, venture-backed startup.
- Driven: You possess a hunter mentality and a strong work ethic. You are independently motivated by hitting and exceeding quotas.
- Adaptable: You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot quickly as the company scales.
- Government/Sled Savvy: Experience selling to government municipalities is a significant plus.
- Location: While 100% remote, we are prioritizing candidates located in the Midwest, South, West Coast, and Southeast.
Why Join?
- Competitive base salary with an aggressive OTE structure.
- Significant equity in a high-growth startup.
- The chance to shape the sales culture of a company modernizing a massive, traditional industry.
