Canada: $58k CAD base + 40% uncapped commission = $81,200 OTE
US: $60k USD base + 40% uncapped commission = $84K OTE
Location: Toronto/Canada (non-PST), Boston, DMV Area, Raleigh–Durham, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Austin, Pittsburgh
Work Set-up: Remote (within certain locations only)

The Opportunity
Our client is on a mission to accelerate the world’s ability to learn, discover, and communicate science. They are the industry-leading platform democratizing science communication to speed up global discovery. We are looking for high-energy, "hunter" mentality professionals to join their Enterprise team to help bring this platform to the world’s most influential pharmaceutical organizations.
The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will be the engine behind the company’s growth. You won't just be making calls; you will be strategizing with Account Executives to break into the "Top 30" global pharma accounts. You will be instrumental in booking on-site demonstrations and securing buy-in from both end-user scientists and Senior Leadership.
Your Responsibilities
Pipeline Development: Identify and target current users and new leads within Fortune 100/500 pharmaceutical accounts.
Strategic Relationship Building: Engage C-level leaders and senior executives to develop high-value sales opportunities.
Sales Cycle Management: Prospect, qualify, and transition leads to Senior Account Executives and Enterprise Success Managers.
Collaborative Outreach: Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Business Development to execute sophisticated outreach strategies.
Data-Driven Optimization: Use ZoomInfo and sales tools to analyze performance and refine your approach.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 8+ months of B2B SaaS sales experience, specifically focusing on enterprise-level clients.
The "Hunter" Mentality: A fearless approach to cold outreach and high-volume calling.
Discovery Mastery: A love for running discovery calls, asking "tough" questions, and connecting product value to customer pain points.
Curiosity & Growth: A genuine interest in life sciences and a coachable mindset that thrives on continuous feedback.
Organizational Excellence: Ability to manage a complex pipeline with meticulous attention to detail.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology is a significant plus but not required.
