What You'll Do
- Calendar Mastery: Own and manage the senior partner's complex, fast-moving schedule—coordinating depositions, hearings, client meetings, and court deadlines with absolute precision.
- Legal Document Preparation: Type, format, proofread, and file legal documents with meticulous accuracy—ensuring zero grammatical or formatting errors.
- Communications & Gatekeeping: Serve as the professional, warm primary point of contact for clients, witnesses, and court personnel via phone, email, and fax.
- Trial & Hearing Prep: Assemble digital and physical binders/notebooks for court hearings and trial proceedings.
- Dictation & Case Files: Transcribe attorney dictation accurately and maintain highly organized electronic and physical case files.
- Proactive Support: Anticipate the partner's daily needs, flagging issues early and staying one step ahead without prompting.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of stable, high-level administrative experience.
- Litigation support or law firm background preferred, but strong executive assistants from corporate environments who have supported demanding executives are highly encouraged to apply!
- Technical & Core Skills: Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills; proficiency with document formatting and dictation/transcription.
- Calendar Management: Proven track record of managing high-volume, multi-time-zone, or shifting calendars seamlessly.
- Work Ethic & Trait Profile: High level of discretion, proactive problem-solving mindset, and unwavering attention to detail.
