Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 Base ($190,000 – $210,000 OTE) + Competitive Equity

About the Opportunity

Our client is a trailblazing health-tech company revolutionizing the field of pathology. By leveraging advanced AI/ML to create a Virtual Staining Hub, they are eliminating the need for traditional chemical staining, reducing turnaround times from days to minutes, and enabling researchers to unlock deeper insights from limited tissue samples.

We are seeking a high-energy, technically adept Account Executive to drive growth across the Biopharma and Molecular Diagnostic sectors. This is a "ground floor" opportunity to sell a category-defining product that directly impacts clinical trials and precision medicine.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales Leadership: Own the entire sales process—from outbound prospecting and technical demonstrations to drafting SOWs and closing complex platform deployments.

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and qualify opportunities within Biopharma, sequencing facilities, and molecular diagnostic labs.

  • Conference Mastery: Represent the brand at major industry events (CAP, PathVisions, HLTH, SITC) to build high-level relationships and fill the pipeline.

  • Consultative Selling: Navigate complex pathology workflows to position virtual staining as a solution for lab directors, pathologists, and research executives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Customer Success teams to scope pilot programs and ensure seamless onboarding for new accounts.

  • Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain rigorous accuracy in HubSpot CRM, providing reliable forecasting for the executive leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within Digital Pathology, SaaS, Lab Equipment, or Life Sciences.
  • Domain Expertise: Must have a proven track record of selling directly to Pharmaceutical companies.
  • Sales Performance: Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotas in a complex, multi-stakeholder selling environment.
  • Communication: Ability to articulate complex AI/ML concepts to technical stakeholders (Pathologists) and business decision-makers (Procurement/C-Suite).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 25–35% for customer site visits and industry conferences.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in an early-stage or growth-stage startup environment.
  • Familiarity with pathology staining processes or tissue analysis.
  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
