What You'll Do
As a member of the Finance Practice Group, you will work on complex, fast-paced transactions alongside a diverse group of smart, collaborative colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing banks, private credit, and institutional lenders in secured loan transactions.
- Managing component parts of financing transactions, including structuring, documentation, and closing for domestic and cross-border deals.
- Collaborating across Tax, Regulatory, IP, and M&A teams to execute multi-faceted financing strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years of law firm experience focused on leveraged lending, commercial lending, or private credit finance.
- Expertise: Proven track record with senior secured, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions. (Asset-backed, warehouse, or royalties financing is a plus!)
- Education: Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to waive in.
- Soft Skills: A proactive work ethic, forward-thinking problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal matters concisely.
