Full-Stack Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA (South Park)

About the Opportunity

Our client, is building the future of insurance by developing domain-specific AI that provides agencies with a 24/7 digital workforce. As one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the sector, they are backed by top-tier VCs and already serve a diverse portfolio of customers, from Top 100 enterprise firms to independent agencies.

This is a high-impact, early-engineer role where you will work alongside exceptional talent—including the CTO to ship features that directly automate complex workflows for thousands of insurance professionals.

The Role

We are looking for Software Engineers with 1+ years of experience (including high-potential new graduates) who thrive on massive ownership. You won't just be writing code; you’ll be building autonomous AI agents, shaping the product roadmap, and working directly with the founders to solve technical challenges in a fast-paced, "scrappy" environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Build AI Agents: Develop and refine autonomous digital workers that automate insurance workflows end-to-end.

  • Full-Stack Development: Design and ship features across the entire stack—from sleek UIs to robust backend APIs and critical infrastructure.

  • Scale Systems: Strengthen core systems, including AI compute infrastructure, asynchronous processing, and observability.

  • Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers and the go-to-market team to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 1+ years of full-stack experience (50/50 to 70/30 backend-heavy split).

  • Technical Excellence: You have a "spike" of excellence, such as experience at a top-tier tech firm (e.g., Stripe), a degree from a Top 20 CS program, or significant open-source contributions.

  • Tech stack: React, Golang, TypeScript

  • Startup DNA: You are comfortable in early-stage environments (AI, B2B SaaS, or FinTech) and prefer moving fast over corporate bureaucracy.

  • AI Proficient: Familiarity with AI concepts, APIs, and modern AI tooling.

  • On-Site: You are based in (or moving to) the SF Bay Area and excited to collaborate in-person 5 days a week at their South Park office.
