Assistant Professor - Maternity and Women's Health Nursing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in maternity and women's health nursing.
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in relevant academic journals.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic and professional matters.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of the university's curriculum.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in maternity and women's health nursing and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to enhance student learning.
  • Engage in community outreach and service activities related to maternity and women's health nursing.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Nursing with a specialization in maternity and women's health nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the university level.
  • Active research agenda with a record of publications in reputable academic journals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
