Assistant Professor - Maternity and Women's Health Nursing
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in maternity and women's health nursing.
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in relevant academic journals.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and professional matters.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of the university's curriculum.
- Serve on departmental and university committees as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in maternity and women's health nursing and incorporate them into teaching and research.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to enhance student learning.
- Engage in community outreach and service activities related to maternity and women's health nursing.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Nursing with a specialization in maternity and women's health nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Active research agenda with a record of publications in reputable academic journals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
