Assistant Professor of Histopathology

Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in histopathology, including lectures, laboratory sessions, and seminars.
• Develop and revise course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Conduct research in the field of histopathology and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
• Participate in departmental and university committees and activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Stay current with developments in the field of histopathology and incorporate new techniques and technologies into teaching and research.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Histopathology or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience at the university level preferred.
• Strong research background with a record of publications in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
