Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Facilities and Equipment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining educational facilities, ensuring that all equipment is in optimal condition, and supporting the smooth operation of educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of educational facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and other learning spaces.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all educational equipment (e.g., projectors, computers, scientific instruments) is functioning properly and promptly address any malfunctions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all educational equipment and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning and executing facility upgrades or renovations to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to faculty and staff regarding the use of educational technology and equipment.
  • Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets to manage facility and equipment expenses efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in engineering, education, or a related field (preferably with a focus on facilities management or educational technology).
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing educational facilities and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and familiarity with various types of educational equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
