Job Overview:

The Funding and PSP Relationship Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the funding function (deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations, and payment flow monitoring) while also managing relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs). This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for ensuring smooth transaction flows, optimizing payment success rates, improving client experience, and maintaining operational compliance across all payment channels.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in payments/funding operations within a Forex or FinTech environment, excellent analytical skills, and proven experience in onboarding, managing, and maintaining strategic relationships with PSPs.

What Will You Do:

Funding Operations Leadership

  • Lead and supervise the Funding Team, ensuring timely processing of deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor daily payment flows, identify bottlenecks, and resolve operational issues quickly.
  • Ensure SLAs, accuracy targets, and compliance requirements are met.
    Optimize processes across CRM, cashier, wallets, and internal operations tools.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Payments, and Back Office to ensure smooth
    coordination.
  • Drive continuous improvements to reduce manual workload, errors, and processing time.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly funding performance reports (approval rates, volumes, PSP performance, etc.)

PSP Management & Onboarding

  • Own end-to-end PSP onboarding including requirements gathering, technical documentation review, testing, and go-live coordination.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and all PSPs.
  • Maintain strong PSP relationships to secure priority support, negotiate fees, and optimize performance.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of approval rates, decline reasons, and fraud patterns across all PSPs.
  • Work with product, BI, and tech teams to troubleshoot PSP issues and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with PSP requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Propose new PSPs, alternative payment methods, and improvements based on market needs and internal data.

Data, Monitoring & Performance Optimization

  • Analyse transaction data to identify trends, payment failures, and issues affecting conversion.
  • Work with BI to create dashboards and improve transaction visibility.
  • Collaborate with PSPs to improve routing, MID setup, transaction logic, and decline handling.
  • Ensure full traceability and reconciliation between CRM, PSP portals, and internal financial systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Product/Tech teams on payment integrations and enhancements.
  • Support Marketing and Conversion teams by advising on payment availability per region.
  • Provide insights to Finance on cash flow planning, settlement schedules, and PSP performance.
  • Work with Legal/Compliance to ensure PSP contracts, licenses, and regulatory obligations are up to date.

What Makes You A Good Fit:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in funding/payments operations within a Forex, FinTech, or payments company.
  • Proven experience in managing PSP relationships and participating in PSP onboarding projects.
  • Strong understanding of payment flows, MIDs, routing logic, approval/decline codes, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably FX/Trading CRMs) and payment gateways/cashiers (Praxis).
  • Experience working with BI tools (Cluvio, Power BI) is preferred.
    SQL knowledge for basic data extraction (desirable).
  • Understanding of chargebacks, fraud prevention, and risk management is preferred.
  • Exposure to PSP technical integrations (API, IPN, callbacks) is preferred.
