We are SummitNext Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a BPO and Technology Solutions provider located in Selangor, where innovation meets excellence.

As we support our partner's rapid expansion in Taiwan's automation industry, we are seeking skilled PLC Automation Control Engineers to join our client's team onsite in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers with a strong technical background who are ready to take on a relocation opportunity, working directly on automated equipment installation, commissioning, and system integration.

Location: Hukou Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan (onsite only). Open to candidates from any location or nationality, the key requirement is strong Mandarin proficiency and willingness to relocate to Taiwan.

Assignment Period: Immediate start through December 31, 2026 (extension possible based on production needs and performance)

Responsibilities:

  • PLC programming, equipment installation, and commissioning for automated equipment
  • System integration and coordinated multi-machine commissioning
  • Support production-line-level automation projects

Requirements:

  • Able to program or modify code on at least one mainstream PLC platform
  • Mandarin proficiency required to support daily communication with the Taiwan-based team and clients
  • Preferred: experience in automated equipment, electrical controls, electromechanical integration, or commissioning
  • Bonus experience: servo/VFD commissioning, EtherCAT/Modbus, robot integration (Epson, ABB, FANUC, KUKA), vision systems (Cognex, Keyence), FAT/SAT testing, legacy system retrofits
  • Senior high school / vocational diploma or above
  • Willing and able to relocate to Taiwan
  • Able to accommodate overtime and project-based schedules
  • Able to stand for extended periods and wear a partial cleanroom suit

Working Hours:
08:30–17:30, 1-hour lunch break. Two days off per week (typically Sat/Sun), though Saturday OT is common. Weekday OT frequent, generally until 21:00.

Note: Motorcycle parking available onsite; no car parking currently provided. Pre-employment physical exam required before start date.

Salary:
RM 3,000 – RM 12,000, based on experience
