About the job PSP Account Manager/Business Developer
Our client - Fintech company - looking for a PSP Account Manager to own and grow relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), expand our global payment portfolio, and ensure we offer the best-performing solutions across key markets.
This role combines relationship management, business development, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing PSPs
- Regularly review and optimize commercial terms and conditions
- Monitor PSP updates (new geos, payment methods, features)
- Research new markets and identify relevant PSPs globally
- Negotiate commercials and onboard new providers
- Collect and structure key materials (API docs, commercial terms, integration requirements)
- Maintain a well-structured internal database of PSPs and documentation
- Ensure all provider information is up-to-date and accessible
- Advise internal teams on the best PSPs by geo, vertical, and merchant needs
- Support merchants by sourcing suitable PSPs and payment methods on demand
- Organize and lead regular calls with existing and potential PSP partners
- Manage escalations and resolve operational/payment issues quickly
- Collaborate with the CCO on monthly performance reports by market/region
- Provide insights to improve approval rates, coverage, and overall performance
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in payments / fintech / PSP / acquiring
- Strong understanding of global payment ecosystems (APMs, cards, local methods)
- Experience working with PSPs, acquirers, or payment gateways
- Proven negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to work with commercial terms, contracts, and integrations
- Strong analytical mindset (comfortable with performance data, approval rates, etc.)
- Structured and detail-oriented (documentation is key in this role)
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-risk industries (iGaming, Nutra, Crypto, etc.)
- Familiarity with API-based integrations
- Existing network of PSP contacts
