Our client is a growing international FinTech company specializing in online payment solutions and payment orchestration. The company develops and maintains payment infrastructure that supports digital businesses and ensures secure, reliable, and efficient payment processing.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to maintain and enhance the company's production infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and high availability of critical payment services.
In this role, you will work closely with development teams, automate infrastructure processes, improve monitoring and incident management, and contribute to building a scalable and reliable payment platform.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and develop FinTech infrastructure, ensuring the stability, availability, performance, and security of critical payment services.
- Implement and improve configuration management for new and existing services using industry best practices.
- Support application deployments and releases, working closely with development and QA teams.
- Ensure the availability, integration, and performance of tools used throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide daily operational support for production systems and business-critical services.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure reliability.
- Automate infrastructure operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Contribute to infrastructure security and compliance with PCI DSS requirements.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI/LLM tools to improve DevOps automation and operational efficiency.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Linux System Administrator, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar distributions) and Unix-like operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, the OSI model and network troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and virtualization technologies, including Docker, LXC, and KVM/QEMU.
- Experience managing MySQL/Percona, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including performance tuning, replication, and high availability.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Nginx, PHP-FPM, RabbitMQ, Redis, and the ELK stack.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, and ELK.
- Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostics skills.
- Experience with Shell/Python scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience in incident management and on-call rotations.
- English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in FinTech, payment processing, billing systems, or payment gateways.
- Understanding of PCI DSS requirements and security practices in payment infrastructure.
- Interest in AI/LLM technologies and their application to DevOps automation.
