What will you do as Accounting Assistant:

  • Performs billing functions by deadlines to ensure TAT compliance and timely premium collection from clients.
  • Creates additional client billing for adjustments and charges to ensure on-time collection of extra premiums.
  • Follows Billing manual procedures closely to minimize processing errors.
  • Processes group account crediting accurately and promptly to reduce complaints from agents, GSOs, and brokers.
  • Clears Suspense items through review and research to ensure timely premium crediting.
  • Updates activity monitoring report daily, ensuring suspense items and billings meet established timelines.
  • Processes disbursements for premium refunds, network cards, broker's fees, experience refunds, and other related items.
  • Maintains and updates Excel spreadsheets for billing/crediting features to support accurate valuation uploads.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferably Accounting/Accounting Technology/Internal Auditing/Financial Management course
  • Fresh graduates are also encourage to apply
  • Analytical and problem solving-skills
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office products especially excel
  • Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload
  • Ability to demonstrate sense of urgency
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Advantage if have at least 1 year experience in the accounting department preferably financial institution but not required.
