Certified Nursing Assistant - Transport - (No driving)

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to minors in a pediatric care setting. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will assist with personal care, ensure a safe and clean environment, and collaborate with families, the interdisciplinary team (IDT), and the community to enhance the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist minors with personal care needs following the Plan of Care and RN direction.
• Support patients with safe transfers and ambulation per center policy.
• Observe, document, and report any changes in a patient's condition to maintain continuity of care.
• Follow infection control procedures to promote a clean and safe environment.
• Maintain respectful and supportive communication with minors, parents, and the care team.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure a secure, comfortable environment.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration support for minors as needed.
• Adhere to all center policies and attend required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certification & Basic First Aid (Required).
• Ability to meet competency and training requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting and standing may be required.
• Ability to operate medical and office equipment.
• Must be able to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
• Potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
• Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Work Environment:

• In-person
• Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to relocate before starting work.
