Speech Language Pathologist

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of medically complex pediatric patients? Our Pediatric Care Center in Desoto, Texas is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team in a facility-based role no traveling from patient to patient.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to support speech, language, and swallowing needs.
• Implement ongoing therapy interventions with a focus on high-quality patient care.
• Create and execute discharge plans that support long-term success.
• Maintain accurate daily treatment records and documentation.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
• Active Texas SLP License (Required)
• ASHA Certification (Required)
• Medicaid Provider Number (Preferred)

Experience:

• At least two years of pediatric experience (Preferred)
