Our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Centers (PPECC) focus on addressing the medical, developmental, physical, nutritional, and social needs of children requiring skilled nursing care.

Summary

As an SLPA at Sunshine Kids Pediatric Day Center, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team by assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This position is essential in ensuring that our young patients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs.

Job requirements include:

• Carry out treatment plans
• Maintenance of daily treatment records
• Positive level of interaction with patients and families of patients
• Positive level of interaction with peers and facility staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
• Pediatric experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
