Key Responsibilities
- Ideal candidates are those with experience in high volume mass production. Candidates must have strong manufacturing process experience of Tooling parts. This must also be complemented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, keen focus on driving business results, ability to work in ambiguous environments, and strong willingness to collaborate and optimize overall business objectives.
- Other areas of responsibilities include:
- Drive the day-to-day program activities to meet the overall program objectives with a. heavy focus on plastic/metal tool release, completion, troubleshooting and tool readiness ahead of key achievements.
- Create and maintain program schedules, predict, and mitigate risks.
- Identify and direct all resources required to execute successful programs.
- Drive suppliers on tool schedules, trial reports and overall communication.
- Perform onsite visits to validate information provided by suppliers and escalate issues related to supplier resources, equipment, capabilities, cooperation etc.
- Collaborate across engineering, operations, and our OEM partners to meet aggressive schedule, quality and volume goals.
- Work with XFN team (HW Engineering, Operations, and manufacturing partner teams) to drive ramp and MP readiness for Tooling Parts
- Drive FACA (Failure Analysis Corrective Action) and yield bridge to mass production
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Tooling Industry
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience with high cosmetic portable consumer electronics
- Experience with leading an XFN team to achieve product launch objectives
- Experience working with International OEM partners and background driving China-based manufacturers, remotely and in-person
- Working knowledge of GD&T, data analysis and statistics
- Proven bottom line project management experience (Planning, Cost, & Delivery)
- Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills, Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
- Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Plastic Injection Molding
- Data analysis using JMP
- PMP Certification
- NX or ProE experience
- Tolerance Analysis
