RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Program Manager for Sustaining packaging programs in support of Quest, Wearables, and Accessories pillars
- Responsible for supporting packaging Post Ramp Qualification / Sustaining activities such as additional country expansion, qualifying new suppliers or manufacturing locations
- Intake and triage new requests from Sustaining Ops
- Partner closely with Packaging XFN to update artwork, release final specifications, and update the packaging bill of materials.
- Partner with our contract manufacturers to validate packaging assembly processes from finished goods box to pallet level
- Assist in failure analysis for packaging reliability, documenting and reporting issues back to the cross-functional team
- Drive technical issue resolution on the packout line and at suppliers
- Ensure materials are built correctly and meet specifications.
- Establishing pkg BOM accuracy and verify newly built SKU matching with Team Center BOM.
- ~20% domestic travel within Mainland China with some international travel to broader APAC region inclusive of Vietnam and India
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or MS in packaging/mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
- 5+ years of hands-on program management experience
- Familiarity with package development process, particularly artwork development and bill of material management
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required
- Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of hands-on packaging program management experience
- BS in mechanical, packaging, or structural engineering
- Detailed knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes and press-check artwork qualification
