RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Program Manager for Sustaining packaging programs in support of Quest, Wearables, and Accessories pillars
  • Responsible for supporting packaging Post Ramp Qualification / Sustaining activities such as additional country expansion, qualifying new suppliers or manufacturing locations
  • Intake and triage new requests from Sustaining Ops
  • Partner closely with Packaging XFN to update artwork, release final specifications, and update the packaging bill of materials.
  • Partner with our contract manufacturers to validate packaging assembly processes from finished goods box to pallet level
  • Assist in failure analysis for packaging reliability, documenting and reporting issues back to the cross-functional team
  • Drive technical issue resolution on the packout line and at suppliers
  • Ensure materials are built correctly and meet specifications.
  • Establishing pkg BOM accuracy and verify newly built SKU matching with Team Center BOM.
  • ~20% domestic travel within Mainland China with some international travel to broader APAC region inclusive of Vietnam and India

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS in packaging/mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on program management experience
  • Familiarity with package development process, particularly artwork development and bill of material management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required
  • Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of hands-on packaging program management experience
  • BS in mechanical, packaging, or structural engineering
  • Detailed knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes and press-check artwork qualification
