Job Purpose
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the high-level design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems, tools, and hardware solutions. This role involves leading complex engineering problem-solving initiatives, promoting productivity through advanced mechanical design, and supporting organizational goals to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Advanced Design & Modeling: Create, review, and approve complex mechanical concepts, design layouts, and modifications for product-specific tools or systems.
  2. Process Improvement: Lead mechanical process improvements to optimize yield, quality, and cycle time while reducing scrap.
  3. Technical Problem Solving: Study the cause and effect of complex mechanical problems and develop solutions based on engineering principles and theories.
  4. Project Management & Transfer: Oversee the transfer of new products, tooling, and equipment technology as assigned.
  5. Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and develop subordinates to improve their technical knowledge and working abilities.
  6. Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with other personnel and departments concerning process activities and tooling fabrication.
  7. Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer expectations and drive the engineering section to meet those requirements.
  8. Documentation: Provide accurate data, reports, and presentation packages to higher management regarding engineering progress and recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: B.Eng. or M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 7+ years of practical experience.
  • Required Skills: * Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Advanced computer programming and engineering software skills.
  • Capable of understanding system-level design and procedures.

  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
