Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical)
About the job Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical)
Job introduction:
- Regularly audit suppliers' manufacturing processes (such as wafer fabrication, assembly and testing), monitor key parameters (CPK, PPM, yield, etc.), establish supplier quality data dashboards, regularly output quality reports, and drive continuous improvement;
- Responsible for driving failure analysis, quality issue abnormality handling, including online abnormality handling at CM BFT test & FATP abnormality handling:
- Responsible for supplier online abnormality handling at wafer or assembly/test factories, product abnormality handling based on customer feedback, failure analysis, and corresponding MRB management;
- Drive suppliers to implement quality tools such as 8D, 5Why/FAT, FMEA, etc., to resolve issues like incoming material abnormalities and process defects, field defects;
- Responsible for change management (PCN) of supplier/subcontractors, including updating change management documents, reviewing subcontractors/Suppliers' change management including Supplier qualification report.
- Ensure suppliers comply with automotive-grade chip reliability standards such as AEC-Q100;
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Microelectronics, Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields;
- Over 5 years of SQE or quality management experience in the semiconductor industry, familiar with wafer fabrication and assembly/test processes;
- Over 3 years of experience in automotive-grade chips or automotive electronics, familiar with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 audits;
- Familiar with automotive-grade chip testing standards (such as JESD47, AEC-Q100) and reliability testing methods;
- Familiar with IC failure analysis approach for chip level and package level
- Proficient in using tools like 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, SPC etc., to analyze the root causes of chip failures; Minitab application, DOE (Design of Experiments) as well.
- Fluent English speaking and strong writing skills
