QA Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Tester who is passionate about delivering high-quality software products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying issues before they reach production. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure our products meet functional and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and regression suites.

• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues or edge cases.

• Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of the agile development process.

• Validate product functionality, usability, and performance before releases.

• Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 24 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

• Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.

• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data integrity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
