Software Renewals Administrator

The Renewals Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing the renewals process. The successful applicant will be meticulous in their review of the renewal and invoicing thereof. They will be customer-centric and adhere to timelines and work closely with the greater team in terms of negotiations etc..

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Management level of role: This is not a management role

Working environment & travel: Exceptionally busy, team-orientated environment. Drivers license and own transport is essential.

Working hours: 07h30 16h00 or 08h00 to 16h30 or 08h30 to 17h00

Key deliverables

  • Maintain Client license data from implementation through to renewals on Salesforce.
  • Consolidation of current clients licenses and co-terming assistance.
  • Generation of renewal, upgrades, and downgrades quotations.
  • Follow the renewal pricing process.
  • Ensure all internal renewal deadlines are met.
  • Review upcoming renewals to ensure alignment of system to customer contract.
  • Manage all renewal change request with our partner orgs.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all products from a licensing perspective.
  • Consulting with sales team, providing renewal quotes, overcoming objections, and adjusting proposals as required.
  • Track and provide status updates on all open opportunities.
  • Oversee Admin email inbox and respond to basic sales questions.
  • Attend trainings - Partner and Internal.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and demanding global environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Salesforce experience

Education & qualifications

  • Matric certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration- highly prefererable.

Details of experience

  • At least two years of experience in a renewals role.
  • Excellent presentation abilities to all levels in a business

  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
