Job Title and Overview
The Implementation Consultant: Governance is responsible for leading the successful implementation and configuration of the Diligent One Governance Products for clients. The products include Diligent Boards, BoardEffect, Diligent Entities, etc.
The consultant works closely with stakeholders to understand governance requirements, configure the solution, manage implementation projects, deliver user training, and ensure a seamless transition to the new platform.
The role requires a strong combination of technical aptitude, project management skills, client relationship management, and knowledge of corporate governance processes.
Reporting to: Head of Services
Management level of role: This is not a management role
Working environment & travel: Remote role This role could require some travel. Driver's license and own transport is essential.
Working hours: 07h30 16h00 or 08h00 to 16h30 or 08h30 to 17h00
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end product implementations, managing timelines, milestones, and concurrent customer onboarding tracks.
- Diligent Boards/BoardEffect Configuration & Integration: Set up digital board books, user permissions, workflows, and security profiles tailored to client governance structures for Diligent Boards and BoardEffect.
- Diligent Entities Configuration & Integration: Facilitate discovery workshops to understand clients' legal entity structures, governance processes, statutory obligations, and reporting requirements. Analyse existing entity management practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Data Migration: Assist clients with preparing data for migration. Import historical documents and governance records for all products. Validate migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
- Training & Enablement: Facilitate training sessions for executives, board members, and system administrators to maximize product utility.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary operational liaison, aligning cross-functional teams and managing client expectations from kickoff to go-live.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations, including board members, executives, and administrators.
- Issue Resolution/Support: Act as a first point of contact for customers to address any concerns, questions, or technical issues they encounter while using the Diligent Products, and work with the Global Diligent Support Team to resolve these promptly.
Required Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software implementation, consulting, or professional services. Ideally with a board software management tool.
- Either experience as a Company Secretary or working with Board Management Solutions .
- Experience in the Corporate Governance field.
