Do you love the moment an event comes together: the sponsorship signed, the stand built, the room full, and the leads flowing? Join SurTech as our Events Specialist and bring the world's leading governance, risk and compliance (GRC) brand to boardrooms in South Africa and across Africa.
About SurTech
SurTech is a Johannesburg-based GRC technology company and Diligent's exclusive partner in South Africa. Since 2018, our team of local specialists has helped boards, CEOs, CFOs, chief audit executives, risk officers and compliance teams in the private and public sectors bring audit, risk, ethics and compliance together on Diligent's platform, which is used by boards and GRC teams around the world. We are a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor with a close-knit, results-driven team.
Why you'll love this role
- Events that matter. Sponsor industry conferences, run user group events, and plan our own events and webinars for senior executives and board members in South Africa and across Africa.
- A global brand, across Africa. Work with Diligent's world-class brand and content, and shape how it lands with audiences across the continent.
- Real ownership. Own every event from start to finish, from negotiating the sponsorship to reporting the return on investment.
- Creative range. Bring events to life with social media posts, photography and short videos.
- Trust and autonomy. Manage your own time and priorities, work remotely, and come into our Rosebank office when the role needs you.
