Human Resources Generalist

On behalf of our client, we are seeking two experienced Human Resources Generalists to support a high-volume retail store environment in Chino Hills, CA. One position requires fluency in English and Chinese, and the other requires fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR resource for store leadership and employees
• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with Federal, California, and local employment laws
• Support Workers' Compensation claims, leave administration, and return-to-work programs
• Advise managers on corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee matters
• Promote a positive, productive, non-union work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in retail, supermarkets, restaurants, manufacturing, warehouse, or other high-volume hourly workforce environments
• Strong knowledge of California employment law, wage and hour regulations, meal/rest break requirements, and leave laws
• Experience handling employee relations investigations and Workers' Compensation cases
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual English/Chinese or English/Spanish required
• PHR-CA certification preferred
