Senior HVAC Service Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join their growing, customer-focused team. In this role, youll work on a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, and more.

This position offers the opportunity to manage complex service projects across a diverse territory while working independently and contributing to a highly skilled technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, fan systems, VFDs, and low-voltage controls
• Perform equipment inspections, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members
• Identify opportunities for additional service solutions and system improvements
• Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, Grinnell, eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri to Minnesota)
• Maintain accurate service documentation using company-provided laptop and mobile systems

What You Bring

• 5+ years of HVAC experience, ideally in commercial or industrial environments
• Strong technical background with VRV/VRF systems, Daikin equipment, and refrigeration service
• HVAC license and EPA certification required
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
