Position Summary

Project Management Manager, is responsible for managing, leading and facilitated the IFRS accounting standard to ensure the implementation and ongoing adaptation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and other related documents for the projects
  • Advising on Accounting Standards Conversion to various financial institutions
  • Prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans and communicates status to team members, and senior management
  • Work with external vendors as required
  • Document and maintain all documentation of processes within the facility
  • Ensure the projects are implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to analyze the financial statements and suggested treatment for assets/liabilities under different accounting standards mainly under IFRS 17 and IFRS 9.
  • Assist in determining the accounting treatment for different Insurance and financial products as per the local regulatory requirements and accounting standards such as IFRS 17, IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IFRS 15, etc.
  • Assist in the build and development of IFRS 17 to current GAAP reconciliation process and templates
  • Developing the chart of accounts, mapping, ledger postings, and drafting reporting formats under IFRS 17.
  • Assist in the development of Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
  • Be involved in projects related to operational process improvement and design
  • Drive the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects
  • Stakeholder management in a project along with project management
  • 5-8 years of relevant post qualification experience with a strong focus on Accounting systems, Reporting tools and excellent hands-on Microsoft Excel and PPT.
  • Strong technical background, preferably knowledge of International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Experience in managing complex accounting issues.
  • Willing to work flexibly.
  • Other task assigned by Head of Finance and/or CFO.

Position Requirement

  • Bachelor Degrees in Accounting, banking and finance or related field, ACCA preferably.
  • At least 5-10 years experiences required.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, results-focused and proven ability to collaborate across functions and with all levels of the organization.
  • Good inter personal skill, problem solving and be able to work under pressure.
  • Advance excel, power point and word are preferable.
  • Good command in English.
