Accounting Representative

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries
• Ensure all Accounts Payable and general ledger entries are recorded accurately, adjusting as needed
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, bank mapping and account reconciliations along with variance analysis
• Reconciliations between multiple systems
• Assist with month-end and year-end close process
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Prepare monthly bank account reconciliation
• Prepare payroll computations and reports
• Work on Accounts Payable, Personal and Employee Benefits

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or any similar courses
• Willingness to learn, be flexible, and possess the ability to work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic and fast-growing environment
• Ability to research, gather and analyze information and resolve problems quickly
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Excel skills should include Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, CONCATENATE, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with Net Suite
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in insurance is a plus
