Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and develop a telesales team responsible for generating qualified insurance quote transfers.
  • Drive daily and weekly performance against KPIs including call volume, contact rate, transfer rate, and qualified leads.
  • Coach agents on call flow, objection handling, qualifying questions, and transfer execution.
  • Monitor calls regularly and provide actionable, real-time feedback.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement structured coaching and improvement plans.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure team output aligns with overall sales and revenue goals.
  • Develop and test strategies to increase call volume, improve prospect engagement, and raise transfer conversion rates.
  • Support onboarding and continuous training for telesales agents.
  • Help refine scripts, talk tracks, and qualification guidelines to improve consistency and quality.
  • Implement motivational programs, contests, and incentives to drive performance.
  • Maintain strong team engagement, accountability, and attendance.
  • Track and report on team performance trends, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for agent questions, challenges, and day-to-day support.

Job Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a call center, telesales, or lead-generation environment.
  • 2+ years of experience supervising or leading a performance-based team.
  • Proven track record of improving team output and hitting volume or conversion targets.
  • Strong understanding of call center metrics and sales-adjacent KPIs.
  • Experience coaching agents on objection handling and qualification (even if not licensed selling).
  • Comfortable managing teams with clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based sales teams is a plus.

Preferred Experiences:

  • Insurance, financial services, or B2B lead generation environments.
  • Warm transfer or appointment-setting sales models.
  • Experience scaling or stabilizing underperforming call center teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, dialers, call monitoring, and reporting tools.
