About the job AutoCAD Draftsman – Rigging & Lifting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and arrange various AutoCAD drawings, lifting plans, method statements, calculations, MOMs and risk assessments as instructed by the Site/Rigging Supervisor.
  • Conduct site visits and physical measurements to determine crane footprints, lifting areas and site requirements.
  • Prepare detailed Rigging & Lifting drawings using AutoCAD, including elevation, plot plans and lifting/tool details.
  • Coordinate closely with Rigging Supervisors and Heavy Equipment Supervisors for lifting and rigging activities.
  • Support the preparation and review of lifting calculations, rigging arrangements and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • AutoCAD certification/experience specifically related to Crane Lifting Drawings is preferred.
  • Oil & Gas safety-related certifications are preferred.
  • Crane Lifting drawings (Elevation, Plot plan and Tool details) in Auto CADD Certification and any oil and gas safety related certifications.
  • Computer literate and preferably Auto CAD, 3D Max, Katia, STADD, MS Office and SAP
