Light Vehicle Driver (Manual)

Job Purpose

To provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for staff, visitors, and official purposes, while ensuring the vehicle is maintained in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles for assigned routes, deliveries, and transportation of personnel.
• Strictly adhere to local traffic laws, road safety regulations, and all company safety protocols while driving.
• Ensure the vehicle is always clean and presentable.
• Perform routine vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, oil, tire pressure) and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle emergency and unexpected situations on the road with professionalism and in accordance with established procedures.
• Interact courteously and professionally with all staff and visitors.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience within Qatar or GCC countries.
• Skills:
  • Valid drivers license for the appropriate vehicle category (light/heavy).
  • Familiarity with local traffic laws and road safety regulations.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Good conduct and professional appearance.
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tires, battery).
