Technical Team Lead – Core System

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of a Python/FastAPI-based Core System.
• Define system architecture, coding standards, security controls, and integration approaches.
• Lead, allocate tasks to, and supervise Backend and Frontend Developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Coordinate system integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Support system testing, deployment, data migration, and post-implementation activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve technical issues, and report implementation risks.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer across the technical team.
• Collaborate closely with business users, vendors, IT stakeholders, and other project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Proven experience leading software development teams.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level systems.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, version control, software testing, deployment, and DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services, banking, exchange, remittance, or similar systems will be an advantage.
