Quantity Surveyor – Civil

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Civil
Project: NFE & NFS Project
Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Duration: 5 Months (Extendable)

Number of Positions: 2

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works.
• Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate contractor bills, variations, and claims.
• Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities.
• Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and planning teams.
• Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare reports on project progress, cost analysis, and forecasting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract management.
• Experience in handling variations, claims, and billing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools/software.
• Good communication skills in English.

Working Conditions:

• 10 hours per day, 6 days a week
• Food, Accommodation & Transportation provided by client
