Role: BI Analyst

Experience & Education

• 1–4 years of experience in BI, data analysis, or MIS roles within fintech, banking, or payments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL for analyzing transactional and financial datasets
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Ability to design dashboards and MIS reports for:
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Strong command of Excel for financial analysis and reconciliation
• Basic understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformations
• Understanding of payments, remittance, FX, cards, or digital banking workflows

• Familiarity with financial KPIs:
• Ability to reconcile transaction-level data across systems
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into accurate, actionable dashboards
• Perform root-cause analysis on transaction failures and discrepancies
• Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis
• Validate data consistency across multiple source systems

Nice to Have

• Exposure to ledger, settlement, and reconciliation reports is a plus
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements (QCB, AML, KYC, audit)
• Basic Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience with payment gateways, core banking, or remittance platforms
• Exposure to data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Experience building regulatory or audit reports
• Understanding of data privacy and access controls
