Cybersecurity Officer
About the job Cybersecurity Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the company's information and cybersecurity framework, strategy, policies and procedures.
- Identify, assess and monitor cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, threats and control gaps.
- Maintain the cybersecurity risk register and follow up on remediation and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant business teams to ensure appropriate technical and security controls are implemented and maintained.
- Oversee cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, investigation, recovery and escalation activities.
- Review cybersecurity requirements for new systems, technology changes, cloud services and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk, or security governance.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring.
- Experience with data protection, information classification and third-party/vendor security risk assessments.
- Knowledge of cloud security and cybersecurity requirements for new technologies and digital initiatives.
