About the job Fire and Safety Technician
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, and maintain firefighting systems and PPE such as SCBA, BA airline systems, and fire extinguishers.

Conduct regular checks for gas detection and monitoring equipment and maintain accurate logs.

Support hot work, confined space, and work-at-height controls as per PTW requirements.

Assist in conducting emergency drills and ensure proper staging of safety equipment.
Minimum Qualifications / Certifications:

NEBOSH certification.

Diploma or equivalent qualification in fire/safety equipment maintenance.

Valid drivers license.
Minimum Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical operations.
Job-Specific Skills (Must/Preferred):
-
Hands-on training and experience with gas detection and monitoring systems.

Strong knowledge of SCBA and BA airline operations.
-
Proven experience in equipment inspection and maintenance.
-
Defensive driving certification is an advantage.
