Draftsman

JOB TITLE: DRAFTSMAN

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design
• 3+ years of drafting experience in oil & gas or construction
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting software
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical drawings to produce accurate drafts
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes or site feedback
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation for project records
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other drafting tools
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
