About the job HSE Officer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental practices for a facility management project. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with HSE policies, conduct regular inspections, and promote a safe working environment for all staff on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across the site.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international HSE standards.

  • Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety records.

  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Coordinate with the project team to promote a strong safety culture.

  • Support emergency response planning and drills.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management or a similar environment.

  • NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent mandatory.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, reporting tools).

  • Ability to deliver HSE training sessions effectively.

  • Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
