Operations Manager

Seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and direct a manufacturing plant with over 100 employees. Will be responsible for all functions in the Manufacturing facility while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace, and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements. Looking for someone with experience equivalent to this line of work.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the entire manufacturing facility operatives. Functionally responsible for production, quality assurance, shipping, receiving, cleaning, and warehouse departments.
- Develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards and ensure the achievement of manufacturing goals.
- Work with salespeople for planning and forecast of production.
- Maximize productive capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining operating costs and goals.
- Manage and implement change to ensure continuous improvement.
- Make strategic investments in capital to achieve improvement in performance measures, productivity, and asset preservation.
- Translate customer and corporate priorities into achievable objectives for Work Unit.
- Personally, direct and coach managers; assure coaching and development occur throughout the organization.

Qualifications
- Must have 5 to 10 years of successful management experience encompassing all facets of operations management.
- Must have a strong understanding of budgetary development and management.
- Must be a strong team player and motivated problem solver.
- Must have clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have the ability to constructively interact with others to resolve issues and improve the operation.
- Must have strategic vision and understand tactics necessary to achieve company goals.
- Must promote and foster a diverse working environment.
