Senior Subject Matter Expert (Baltimore, MD)

Senior Subject Matter Expert needed for our government client in Downtown Baltimore. The Senior Subject Matter Expert will use Information Technology expertise to guide the development of applications and systems. Five month contract position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $73.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:

• Define the problems and analyze and develop plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex-to-complex systems.
  
• Coordinate and manage the preparation of analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems specifications, including, but not limited to, information technology, health care, education, public safety, social services, human resources, transportation, and environment.
  
• Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
  
• Work with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance.
  
• Provide highly technical, specialized recommendations, and security solutions to complex IT problems.
  
• Develop hypothesis/conclusions and production of final reports.
  
• Deliver projects in accordance with the Governments requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  
• At least five years in an technical project leadership experience is required.
• Must have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Oracle skills.
  
• Must be able to work between the hours of 7:30 am-4:00 pm or 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch. A hybrid schedule consisting of three days a week on site and two days from home will be considered based on work performance.
  
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
