Recruiter/Human Resources Coordinator needed for our security client in Baltimore City. The Recruiter/Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment, managing employee records and providing clerical support. Contract to hire position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:


  • Update job boards, screen security and office applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, send job offers, and handle pre-employment paperwork.
  • Update internal databases with new employee data and produce weekly reports on staffing progress.
  • Attend job fairs and connect with local colleges to source talent.
  • Assist with company events to effectively orient, onboard, and engage team members and their families.
  • Research and participate in HR tools to support department optimization.
  • Create and maintain applicant paper files.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least two years of recruiting and/or human resources administration experience in a private sector environment.
  • Must be able to multi task between full life cycle recruitment and administrative tasks.
  • Must have Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience with Sage or Peoplesoft preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to work from 9:00 am-5:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
