A CRM/ Marketing Technologist Specialist, a newly emerging role at the Ignition Group provides the means to drive the
increase in customer value. Increase and improve customer engagement, product adoption and customer retention. Gain
valuable insights based on customer data to drive new acquisitions, reduce churn, manage retention, and improve customer
experience.
Help mold the advertising and marketing strategies as well as manage the Martech solution to improve marketing for a variety
of brands. Maximise the efficiency of customer data and marketing software to improve the customer experience and lifetime
value.
The position will require collaboration across the organisation to bring access to the service and further drive innovation in the
engagement area. It requires both a technical mind and someone that pays incredible attention to detail. There needs to be
an ability to anticipate needs and associated risks.
Someone with experience in CRM software is a plus.
The detail:
Work with the Customer Engagement Manager to devise digital marketing strategies to align with the business
objectives, collaborating with IT to carry out projects with our selected marketing tech vendors.
Build and automate marketing customer workflows within our marketing automation tool.
Coordinate and implement system integrations and migrations of internal systems and marketing automation
software.
Document business and functional requirements, designing technical solutions, defining the operating model and
procedures to execute, training and supporting users.
Maximize the features and benefits of our Martech solution.
Support the rollout and daily operations of the Ignition marketing automation platform, including testing,
troubleshooting and support.
Document key processes and procedures as they develop and evolve.
Generate and interpret the data from the software with support from the data analysis team.
Optimize marketing technology investments.
Work with various teams to increase customer acquisition, demand generation, and revenue.
Upskill any new users on the platform, write training manuals to assist all staff in the future.
Assist with the maintenance and the integrity of the customer data stored in our CMS.
Review the current processes within the company and propose updates to them to align them with the CRM data.
Ensure the CRMs accuracy and reliability.
Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Suggest new methods to address customer needs after analysing the data.
Track marketing metrics and trends, like conversion rates and web analytics.
Conduct market research to follow trends and competition.
