What you'll do
The National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving domestic sales and expanding market presence. This position requires a proactive and hands-on leader who will manage and participate in various aspects of the sales process, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Engagement and Promotion Management
- Conduct research on potential customers, including sales acquisition, negotiation, and contract management with offline retailers.
- Develop and execute strategies for monthly sales, marketing promotions, and sales promotion expenses to drive off-take sales.
- Foster professional relationships with key customers, promoting mutual business cooperation.
- Create, plan, and implement sales promotion expenses in alignment with approved investment plans and management-defined indicators.
- Manage existing key accounts and strategically open new key accounts as per approved company plans.
- Ensure consistent achievement of monthly sales and profit targets.
2. Supply Chain Operations
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to clearly communicate sales requirements, ensuring seamless and high-quality deliveries to customers.
- Monitor and maintain healthy levels of store inventory to support demand.
4. Offline Sales Operations
- Execute various tasks related to offline sales as required.
What you need to succeed
- 5-10 years of proven success in domestic consumer sales.
- Ability to proactively visit service stores, propose innovative ideas, and contribute to the enhancement of sales performance.
- Strong collaboration skills, capable of working seamlessly with departments such as marketing, finance, supply chain, production operations, e-commerce, CS/CRM, etc., ensuring effective communication and synergy.
- Native in Japanese; Proficiency in English (business conversation level).
- Willingness and availability to travel in Japan several times per month.
