About the job Senior Product Operations Manager - Singapore
Syfe is APAC's largest and fastest-growing digital wealth platform, trusted with over US$10 billion in assets. We are fundamentally changing how hundreds of thousands of people across Asia-Pacific build wealth through a holistic approach to managing money rather than just pushing investment products. Backed by world-class investors and recognised as a leader in WealthTech, we are a team of passionate builders creating the future of wealth management.
The Right Profile
We're looking for a Senior Product Operations Manager to be the connective tissue between our Product team and the rest of Syfe — Customer Support, Compliance, Engineering, and Business teams. You'll be the first line of defense on the product end to ensure customer issues and incidents get resolved cleanly, and turn into lasting fixes rather than recurring fire drills.
This isn't a backlog-admin role. You'll triage and drive resolution of live customer and product issues, run the operating rhythm that keeps PMs and stakeholders in sync, and take on the day-to-day product work that keeps releases, processes, and documentation running smoothly. You should be equally comfortable in a live incident bridge and in a stakeholder review.
You don't need to have carried the "product manager" title before — but you should have real product or operations experience, sharp judgement under pressure, and the credibility to pull the right people into a room (virtual or otherwise) and get a decision made.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the front line between Product and other teams (Support, Compliance, Engineering, Business) for customer issues and incidents — triaging what comes in, working with the right PM or squad to resolve it, and tracking it through to resolution
- Own incident response coordination for product-related issues: convene the right people, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure fixes and post-mortems actually happen rather than just get discussed
- Build and maintain the processes, tools, and documentation (playbooks, escalation paths, issue trackers) that let Product and cross-functional teams resolve problems without reinventing the wheel each time
- Identify recurring or systemic issues from support tickets, incident logs, and stakeholder feedback, and turn them into clear insights
- Spot opportunities to reduce manual, repetitive work in Product, Operations, and CS, etc and drive the fixes yourself where possible
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years' total professional work experience, with at least 5 years in product operations, product management, technical support/escalations, or a similar cross-functional operations role
- Track record of resolving live customer or production issues under time pressure, including coordinating across multiple teams
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable digging into data, tickets, and logs to find the real problem, not just the symptom
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate between technical, business, and compliance stakeholders
- Highly organised, with a bias for follow-through — things assigned to you don't fall through the cracks
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and owning problems end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Product Operations Manager or Specialist
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a consumer-facing fintech, wealth management, or other regulated financial services company
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments, where issue handling has regulatory implications
- Adept at using AI tools in your day-to-day work
- Familiarity with incident management tools/practices (e.g., Jira Service Management, structured post-mortems)
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools beyond Excel
