Accounting Analyst

The Right Profile:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our growing team. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making. You will work closely with our finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management, highlighting key trends and insights
• Monitor and review budget and spending to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes and increase efficiency
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulations is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience applying AI tools within accounting workflows and operations, including the ability to experiment with and help deploy AI enabled solutions at scale
• A passion for investing, or the willingness to quickly learn the space.
