Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Hong Kong's Product Offering: Partner with central investment and cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap and oversee the execution, governance, and regulatory compliance of Syfe's managed portfolios in Hong Kong.
  • Drive Investment Strategy through Thought Leadership: Integrate regional outlooks with local market insights to deliver high-quality, AI-enhanced commentary on Hong Kong's regulatory landscape, MPF dynamics, and thematic investment trends.
  • Be Syfe's Local Investment Voice in Hong Kong: Act as the primary brand representative across media and industry events to establish a consistent, authoritative, and trustworthy investment voice within the local market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of investment experience in investment strategy, research or advisory roles in the Hong Kong market.
  • Deep understanding of Hong Kong's investment ecosystem - ETFs, managed accounts, regulatory frameworks, MPF and retail investor behaviour.
  • Outstanding communication skills with media, public-speaking or client-facing presence.
  • Ability to break down complex investment concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong relationships across asset managers, issuers, research providers and/or industry bodies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese) with working proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold a CFP / CFA qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Responsible Manager (RM) which involved advising on, managing, or overseeing Managed Portfolios in a PLUS.
